Sara E. Ross is an associate with Sandy T. Fox P.A. Ms. Ross is knowledgeable and passionate about family law and strives to practice with compassion and diligence while working with clients through these sensitive and difficult times.
Ms. Ross is a New York native who relocated to Florida to attend and graduate Florida Southern College where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in criminology and sociology while interning with the Polk County State Attorney’s Office. From there, Ms. Ross went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree a semester early from the University of Miami School of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016.
While in law school, Ms. Ross was selected to receive the CALI Excellence for the Future award for her hands on legal work with the University of Miami Death Penalty Law Clinic. Ms. Ross also developed her interest and passion in family law while working for Judges as an intern and then as a case manager in the Unified Family Court Complex Litigation Division.
Prior to joining the firm Ms. Ross served as Senior attorney for Florida’s Department of Children and Families and as a program attorney for Florida’s Guardian ad Litem Program. While in these positions, Ms. Ross advocated on behalf of hundreds of Florida’s abused and neglected children and gained substantial experience in handling and litigating sensitive issues related to this vulnerable population.
